Kelsey graduated from Utah State University's coordinated dietetics program in 2010. She then went on to receive her Master's of Nutrition Science degree from Utah State University in 2012. Kelsey is a certified eating disorder specialist (CEDS) and a certified eating disorder specialist consultant (CEDS-C). Kelsey has worked with eating disorders since 2013. She has experience in all levels of eating disorder care (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient) and works with all types of eating disorders (including ARFID). Kelsey is known for her empathetic, but firm approach. Kelsey utilizes intuitive eating/anti-diet and health at every size philosophies. She practices trauma informed care and also incorporates therapeutic modalities (i.e. CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, etc.) to help improve her clients' relationships with food and their bodies.
Kelsey also has experience working with individuals needing nutrition counseling for polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), gastrointestinal diseases (IBS, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, etc.), autoimmune disorders, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS), and other chronic health conditions that co-occur with eating disorders.
